Learning the basic three steps: Somnambulism Convincers and Inside techniques and their application in the 5 Path system. Very impressive. I plan to take the course at the convention.

Age regression allows the 0perator to neutralize a problem at the source.
Learning about a systematic approach that I can use for all types of clients/issues. As a new hypnotherapist, I want to feel confident in knowing how to handle diverse situations successfully.

The use of insight techniques. The "A-ha" moment. How it makes them realize how that moment in time impacted them.
The age regression explanation & reasoning that clients problems are easier to deal with if you go back to the beginning/origin of their problem & cause, (as compared to dealing with all the layers that have been added on since adulthood.) It was also helpful to learn about neutralizing the emotion that causes the problem as a goal to help clients.
Using the age regression with every client so that you can get to the beginning or origin or the problem and help to neutralize the cause, thus allowing that emotion or misconception to be diminished. amazing!
As a graduate of Cal's course it reinforced how important it is to be sure the client has reached somnambulism by using covert testing and convincers .This way the client will gain confidence in the fact that he has chosen a professional and competent hypnotist who can partner with him as a leader as well as a compassionate guide, as in a ballroom dance. I was reminded of the power of "insight techniques" and how they bring about "self insight" giving permanence to suggestions given to the subconscious mind. This then enables the origin of the problem to be neutralized.
It was all useful. The most important info for me was the part on the "informed child process". For me it was the last piece of the puzzle. I am going to take the 5 path training asap. I can see how business can grow and grow. Thank you.
That through age regression, you can find the cause of whatever problem and neutralize it. It could have been a misconception as a child.
As a former student of Cal's I never miss an opportunity to hear him speak; he is such an inspiration.
The fact that we would be able to help the client neutralize their emotional baggage to take control and go forward.
That Age regression can be incorporated more often in our practice using the 5-path method. This will help us get the subject into somnambulism quicker to instill change. If we can find the emotional baggage we can neutralize it.
That convincers and insight are as important as revivification of the emotional events themselves. Regression is the reason I became a hypnotist and it is definitely the key to success.
I didn't even know that 5-PATH® stood for 5 Phase Abreactive Therapeutic Hypnosis. The most important thing I learned in this, my first, teleseminar is that mastering and understanding these 5 phases, would in itself, ensure a successful business and literally guarantee success for the hypnotherapist and the client. I loved the idea Cal gave of hypnosis being a dance with us (the hypnotherapist) in the lead position and the client in the follow position. Cal stressed that a good and effective pre talk is of the utmost importance.
The importance of finding the origin of the problem - ISE - to neutralize the cause.
Your clients have to know they were Hypnotized and the clients should not know when your testing them.
The most useful information for me was the fact that problems that are killing people such as obesity and drinking can be helped with the age regression approach. I also found out I want some intensive training in this subject.
This "systematic" approach to hypnosis and hypnotherapy will make it easier for new hypnotists to address the needs of a wide variety of clients, which will lead to confidence and ability for the new hypnotist.
Cal Banyan's thoughts on 5-Path brought all hypnosis sessions together as one. Like have a common approach for everything. Have a five step procedure.
