The latest report is... we now have a schedule for Singapore!
November 28th through December 8th (Sunday is a day off)
This is a news flash. More details will follow. We have now settled on the dates for the Hypnotherapy Certification training in Singapore! The location has not yet been finalized. So check back. We will let you know everything as it is settled. We are really looking forward with getting together with both the new students and the graduates from the previous courses, who have become our friends. More

For The National Guild of Hypnotists 50th Annual Convention!
August 9th
Hello Everyone! It is great to be back at the NGH Convention and it was a thrill to see Jerry and Shirley Kein again. They are really great people who have contributed a great deal to the field of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy.

The secret is out! Gerald Kein is the coauthor of the new book, Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy: Basic To Advanced Techniques For the Professional.
Here Gerald Kein and Cal Banyan get together and Cal shows off the new book for the first time. Jerry said that he was proud to be part of the project because it book is "bound to be a classic!"
Cal hopes that he and Jerry can do more projects in the future. |
Tonight Maureen and I are planning on meeting with all of the our graduates that were able to make to the convention. We are going to have supper and I'm planning on taking some more photos and getting them right here for you to see.

Nearly half of the group stayed after the presentation to tell Cal that they enjoyed his talk and to ask more about using Age Regression Therapy to help their clients. |
Calvin Banyan was privileged to speak to members of the National Guild of Hypnotists on the topic of Age Regression Therapy. His was one the only talks given at the convention on this powerful hypnotherapeutic technique! His talk focused on how to successfully direct an Age Regression Therapy session and how to maximize its effectiveness.
He also showed a video tape demonstrating how to initiate an Affect Induced Age Regression (no formal induction, the regression is initiated by pure affect, which both produces the state of hypnosis and the regression). This is a highly advanced technique that few hypnotherapists have heard about, much less attempted or seen demonstrated. Needless to say the group was excited and wanted to learn more about it, as well as the many other professional techniques that Cal discussed. |

The news continues to spread about the new book and Cal Banyan and Jerry Kein are posing again. They have been approached by several hypnotherapy schools who want to use the book in their classes and by retailers that want to stock the book. Here is yet another photo. |
A couple more bits of information. Congratulations goes out to Gerald Kein, who receive and award for Educator of the Year! He also received a wild standing ovation, which he greatly deserves.
Another tid bit. Dr. Dwight Damon stopped by and asked me to write some articles for the Hypno-Gram. I am excited about the opportunity to write to our organization! Now I have to think up some topics to write about. If you have any suggestions let me know.

It was wonderful having you all there at the convention. I didn't get photos over everyone of our grads that made it this year, but at last count there were about 18 of you hard-core hypnotherapists there! I know that more of you wanted to make it.
To all of you that could not make it to the convention this time, we missed you and hope to see you here next year!
