Hypnosis News--April 17, 2001

We just returned from Singapore yesterday and we are recovering from a slight case of jet lag. But, wow! We had a really great trip. It was wonderful meeting so many people from Singapore who are interested in using 5-PATH and 7th Path to help others.

Another highlight from the trip was our visit to the Canossaville Children's Home and Convent. Below is a photo of Maureen and I with some of the staff.

During the NGH Certification course, I took the opportunity to demonstrate EFT on Sister Rose (third from the left) and removed a life long fear of heights. A few days later, I had the opportunity to do the same with Sister Geraldine, on a different phobia.

The Sisters were so impressed with our training that they have offered to let us use the school for our next class. It is a beautiful facility. Sister Rose and Sister Geraldine will be running the proposal through the proper channels next week. We will be very fortunate if we can use their facility. In exchange for the use of their facility for our next training, I have been asked to give a workshop on how the Sisters can use The Secret Language of Feelings and The 7th Path to better serve the children in the school and the community at large!

We will let you know how it all works out. Right now it looks very good, and I am very excited about the prospect of working with the Sisters and the other teachers. Our next Singapore training will probably occur in late November of this year.

Back on the home front, in the good old USA, we are now in the process of expanding! Our 2000 sq. ft. facility will now have 4000 sq. ft! We will now have more room for our training classes, among other things. I'll put some photos up here just as soon as we get the new footage ship shape. We should have the place ready for our next NGH Certification class in May, 2001. I hope to see you here.

One last thing. We have been invited to do a NGH Certification Training in South Africa! I'll let you know as the details develop on this new international training. Email MaBanyan@aol.com for the latest news. It looks like this one will happen around March 2002.

Hypnosis News--April 10, 2001

Here is the latest. First off, this page is new! We plan to use this page to post all of the latest news regarding our services, programs and staff. Now, on to the business of the news...

Right now we are still in Singapore. During our stay, so far we have completed a 7th Path1-Day Workshop, an NGH Certification Training (with 5-PATH and 7th Path) and have started making plans to return. Click here to see the latest graduates.

I have just returned from a wonderful lunch at the University of Singapore where I spoke with some officials from HDA (not affiliated with the university). They specialize in bringing trainers and educators from outside of Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and China (throughout Asia), to do training for Mental Health Professionals in those countries. We are talking about working together to bring our Certification Training back to Singapore in November or December of this year, and other countries in the near future.

Earlier today I responded to an invitation to speak at Fei Yue Family Service Center. I spoke to family service professionals, educating them on the use of hypnosis and hypnotherapy in helping the individuals and families that they work with. They were very receptive and asked lots of questions about the use of hypnosis and about the hypnosis demonstration that I gave them.

Above is a photo of myself with Edwin, a former graduate of our course. He works with both Fei Yue Family Service Center and HDA. I thank them for the opportunity to speak to their group of mental health providers so that we can spread the good word about how we can use hypnosis to help people and improve the quality of services that we as Mental Health Professionals provide.

On another topic... While in Singapore we had some of our products converted to VCD and CD. Our students can now get our 5-PATH videos and "Truth About Hypnosis" videos on VCD, a common video format in much of the world (and can be played on some DVDs available in the USA). As soon as we return to the USA we will also be able to provide the 7th Path 1-Day Workshop tape set on CD.
