How  To  Sign  Up  For  Free  E-mail
and Yahoo Group Access

E-MAIL & YAHOO SETUP PROCEDURES

E-MAIL

You will need to have access to a separate e-mail address to have the hypnosiscenter.com mailbox verified.  This can be one you already use or you can use a friend's.  The e-mail host sends an e-mail to this alternate address to confirm the creation of your account.

You can get to the email account creation request from this link: contact us

Just send an e-mail per the instructions, your account will be created and you will receive a confirmation reply e-mail to you at the alternate e-mail address you applied from.

YAHOO
(You may want to print out this instruction sheet for your convenience while at the Yahoo Groups site.)

We at the Banyan Hypnosis Center will set up your membership in the Hypnotherapists 5 and 7th Path Group at www.groups.yahoo.com based on the info and e-mail address that you have submitted to us.  Upon request, we will also set up 7th Path practitioners for membership in that group.  If you are NOT a graduate of our Hypnotherapist training, please include the text of the Recognitions you have received with your request.  Our other groups (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Talk-About-Hypnosis/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/hypnosiswithspirit/, http://groups.yahoo.com/group/thesecretlanguageoffeelings/) are "open," so you may join just by going to the site and clicking on the "Join This Group" button and following the onscreen instructions.

You must still go to Yahoo Groups and create a Yahoo ID at this link:  http://groups.yahoo.com/

On the upper left corner of the page you will see "Sign In," and beneath it, "New Users, Click here to register."   Click this link and then follow the on-screen instructions.  Yahoo also sends a confirmation e-mail to your alternative e-mail address.   There is also a “special program/special offers” section and you should check the options appropriate to your interests.

It is preferable to use the same e-mail address to create your Yahoo ID as you gave us to create your membership in the Yahoo Group - this facilitates searching for and associating the groups to which you belong with your new Yahoo ID.

Once you have registered your user I.D., etc., you can return to http://groups.yahoo.com/ to sign in.  After signing in you will see "Welcome <user ID>" on a gray bar just above the blue bar displaying "Yahoo Groups."  To the right side of the gray bar, you will see that the 2nd Menu Item is "My Groups."  When you click on that item it will display a "Wizard" with on-screen directions for you to follow. This Wizard will associate the e-mail address with which you signed up for your Yahoo I.D. with any Group that has you enrolled as a member under the same e-mail address.  This is why we state in the previous paragraph that using the same e-mail address facilitates entering the groups.

Once you have run the "Wizard" and it displays the list of Groups of which you are a member, you can click on the link for the Group you wish to access.  From now on, once you've signed into Yahoo with your Yahoo I.D., you will be able to see the list of Groups by clicking the "My Groups" Menu Item as described above.
